CULTURAL ACTIONS

Cultural activities for all audiences

Soria and Mehdi are keenly aware of the need to pass on their work.
In parallel with their shows, they carry out cultural mediation activities throughout the year with a variety of audiences: secondary school students, children, dancers in training, people with disabilities, the socially disadvantaged, people in hospitals and prisons.

These activities take the form of workshops in which participants are introduced to choreographic creation around the various themes of the company’s shows.
Over and above technical skills, these workshops aim to develop the sensitivity and musicality of the body through dance, and more broadly, to open up audiences to artistic practices.

she forges with the teaching staff and the group.

The creation

From amateurs to professionals, through choreographic and
stage work, the company makes available all the tools it uses to
create a show.
Depending on their level of expertise, individuals can learn
different aspects of the creative process, highlighting the different
paths and techniques used to stage a show.

Training the trainers

For teachers and professional dancers with whom
Soria and Mehdi share their pedagogical and artistic know-how.
Passing on and learning to pass on is at the heart of
compagnie’s project.

Building self-confidence through movement and emotion

by Soria Rem and Mehdi Ouachek

From initiation to choreographic creation, amateur, semi-professional or professional, we adapt and innovate in the transmission of each project, but above all, to the different bodies and physical capacities that we put into movement in a common work, without distinction of age or sex, taking great care of each participant.

It is important to us that these times of shared creation enable
everyone, on an individual, personal and collective level, to…

  • become aware of your body by daring to inhabit it and express your emotions
  • gain involvement and self-confidence within the
group thanks to joint creative work,
  • flourish in performance and stage presence through
    movement,
  • develop an awareness of musicality and listening through different
musical approaches and work themes linked to
    movement,
  • discover improvisational work that encompasses all these issues

“Dance is a rare form of freedom…
In our workshops, we break codes and give everyone the freedom to express themselves through movement, and to enjoy it.
